This private equity-backed software business requires a Chief Financial Officer to assist in expanding the business organically and acquisitively in the UK and internationally. 

Reporting into the CEO, this position will be responsible for:

• Managing and upgrading the finance function into a centre of business intelligence which provides data, insight and strategic direction allowing the business to make more informed decisions
• Lead the evaluation of potential acquisition targets to accelerate capability in chosen sectors and geographical areas
• Managing relationships with Investors and Banks

Skills and experiences:

• Experience of operating in Private Equity-backed businesses or in a business that has a leveraged financial structure as top finance person essential
• Experience and knowledge of the technology services sector is essential
• Demonstrable experience of M&A
• Acquisition integration experience, including but not limited to on-boarding of new finance teams and capabilities
• Excellent leadership and people development/mentoring experience
• Used to and confident in making business critical decisions
• Sound knowledge of business systems and process improvement
• Comfortable in fast moving entrepreneurial environment
