Group Sales and Marketing Director

 Large Private Equity backed business services organisation seeking to strengthen their senior management team with a seasoned Group Sales and Marketing Director.

 

Role Description

  • Develop and execute the sales and marketing strategy in line with wider company objectives
  • Lead, manage and develop a large field and account management sales force across multiple verticals
  • Become the external “face of the company” at the most senior client level
  • Professionalise sales processes and practices
  • Drive top line growth and profitability of the organisation
  • Work with the rest of the executive team to a successful exit for the private equity investors

Requirements

  • First class leader who motivates and energises
  • “Blue chip” sales training
  • Some responsibility for or training in Marketing
  • Significant B2B product and annuity sales experience
  • Experience managing large geographically disparate sales teams
  • Significant change management experience
  • Experienced with detailed customer segmentation programmes
  • Financially literate and analytically focused
  • Experience operating in a private equity backed business will be considered an advantage
