What we look for in Interim HR Directors:

We look carefully at the candidate’s mix of skills and experience, the type and size of organisations they’ve worked in and their personal attitude and approach.  In general, Interim HR Directors need to:

  • Have demonstrable board level experience of delivering rapid HR professionalisation in organisations with limited HR resource, systems or processes.
  • Be a commercial and strategic HR professional, capable of interacting at all levels of the organisation to deliver change in line with company cultures that are often strong and unique
  • Understand through past experience the private equity environment and the types of people that will perform well in these organisations, or demonstrate the right mindset to do so

Private equity investors expect Interim HR Directors to deliver a data and management information driven approach to help with future business decision making.
